The vBrooklyn video-festival documents Brooklyn, NY's, evolving cityscape,
culture and people with contemporary video-art. It creates a forum
exploring Brooklyn as inspiration and - With Brooklyn itself the subject of
the festival - hopes to create symbiosis between the borough and the
resulting works.

Brooklyn's urban development and population influx has hit critical-mass -
vBrooklyn wants video-artists to tape the borough before it permanently
transforms, building a dynamic historic record through personal
interpretation and literal documentation.
vBrooklyn will present over 20 innovative and entertaining video-artists
through live video-performances, screenings and installations.
