Born in California, Made in NYC.
[sic] is a conceptual artist and experience designer whose media works cull influence from a hybrid terrain of theory and culture. A passion for creating emotive narrative architectures is informed by diverse interests: cinema, public/street art, fashion, performance, hip-hop, animation, and music. With ideas defining the medium of production, projects include film, television, animation, objects, live performance, and programmed digital media.
Current Foci include:
360 Degree Media : conceptual media projects that move fluidly between all media, using the power of networks to their increase reach and viability
Live Cinema : the performance of audiovisual narrative in a live mixing event
Digital Graffiti : the projection of public art on urban architectures as canvas
[sic] has shown or performed work at Ars Electronica, Oberhausen Film Festival, Resfest, South by Southwest (SXSW), Pirineos Sur, Cinema Paradise.
Exhibitions include Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, New York Digital Media Salon, Culture Cache Gallery (SF), StartSOMA (SF), Punch Gallery (SF), 39 Hotel (Honolulu), John Hope Franklin Center for Interdisciplinary & International Studies (Duke University), and BLD (Columbus, Ohio).
Panel Appearances include Resfest, South by Southwest, Streaming Media, DV Expo, and at UC Berkeley’s “Art, Technology, and Culture Colloquium”.
