Graduate

Filmmaker, editor, animator, and live video artist. Among other things, I have worked for documentary director Ric Burns as an archival film researcher for his epic series "New York", and as a digital animator on his most recent film "Andy Warhol". I collaborate with writer/performer Jon Brunelle on an ongoing theater project, The Psychasthenia Society, towards finding the perfect blend of storytelling, satire, and augmentative image technology. Previous works have included collaborations with dance companies, other filmmakers, and dozens of musicians on both composed and improvisatory bases.

I am exploring digital media as a means of expression within the realm of public art in New York. I also studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto. I apply my training in sculpture and printmaking to my art and I have worked extensively with the medium of mail art, both in an artistic and professional capacity. My ongoing interest is to illuminate those moments of the precious and the ephemeral for the individual living within the autonomy of the urban environment.
