VoomHDLab

VoomHDLab : high definition viral media, is an open platform website for streaming and downloading high definition video and pop culture art.

Theory meets practice in the merger of HD video and IP-based, programmatic broadband media delivery. The site’s videocentric design is focused on an engaging user experience that allows for both lean-forward interactive and lean-back TV/cinema moments.

This experience design is embedded within an information architecture that fuels the viral spread of its video and links through hyperdistribution. Key concepts guiding this design process: Stream, Download, Share.

This project is part of an ongoing consultation with Voom HD Networks. It is also my Master of Science thesis project at Polytechnic's IDMI program.
